Collection of General Information When Visiting Our Website

Type and Purpose of Processing:

When you access our website, i.e., if you do not register or otherwise transmit information, general information is automatically collected. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider, your IP address, and similar data. This is exclusively information that does not allow conclusions to be drawn about your person.

It is processed in particular for the following purposes:

We do not use your data to draw conclusions about your person. Information of this kind may be statistically evaluated by us to optimize our internet presence and the underlying technology.

Legal Basis:

Processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website.

Recipients:

Recipients of the data may be technical service providers who act as processors for the operation and maintenance of our website.

Storage Duration:

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose of its collection. For data used to provide the website, this is generally the case when the respective session ends.

Provision Required or Necessary:

The provision of the aforementioned personal data is neither legally nor contractually required. However, without the IP address, the service and functionality of our website cannot be guaranteed. Furthermore, individual services may not be available or may be restricted. For this reason, an objection is excluded.

Contact Form

Type and Purpose of Processing:

The data you enter will be stored for the purpose of individual communication with you. This requires providing a valid email address and your name. This serves to assign the inquiry and subsequently respond to it. Providing further data is optional.

Legal Basis:

The processing of data entered into the contact form is based on a legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

By providing the contact form, we want to enable you to contact us easily. Your information will be stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry and for possible follow-up questions.

If you contact us to request an offer, the data entered into the contact form will be processed for the purpose of carrying out pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).

Recipients:

Recipients of the data may be processors.

Storage Duration:

Data will be deleted no later than 6 months after the inquiry has been processed.

If a contractual relationship arises, we are subject to statutory retention periods and will delete your data after these periods expire.

Provision Required or Necessary:

The provision of your personal data is voluntary. However, we can only process your inquiry if you provide us with your name, email address, and the reason for the inquiry.

Use of Cookies

Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that make it possible to store specific, user-related information on the user’s device while they are using the website. Cookies enable us, in particular, to determine the frequency of use and the number of users of the pages, to analyze website usage behavior, and to make our offerings more customer-friendly. Cookies remain stored beyond the end of a browser session and can be retrieved when the page is visited again. If you do not wish this, you should set your internet browser to refuse the acceptance of cookies.

Use of Script Libraries (Google Webfonts)

Type and Purpose of Processing:

To display our content correctly and graphically appealing across browsers, we use “Google Web Fonts” from Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter “Google”) on this website for font display.

You can find the privacy policy of the library operator Google here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Legal Basis:

The legal basis for integrating Google Webfonts and the associated data transfer to Google is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR).

Recipients:

Calling up script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the library operator. It is theoretically possible – although currently unclear whether and for what purposes – that the operator, in this case Google, collects data.

Storage Duration:

We do not collect personal data through the integration of Google Webfonts.

Further information on Google Web Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Third Country Transfer:

Google processes your data in the USA and has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

Provision Required or Necessary:

The provision of personal data is neither legally nor contractually required. However, without it, the correct display of content using standard fonts cannot be enabled.

Revocation of Consent:

The programming language JavaScript is regularly used to display content. You can therefore object to data processing by deactivating JavaScript in your browser or installing a JavaScript blocker. Please note that this may lead to functional restrictions on the website.

SSL Encryption

To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (e.g., SSL) via HTTPS.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the privacy policy, e.g., when introducing new services. The new privacy policy will then apply to your renewed visit.
